Diane Arbus
Born in New York in 1923, he began taking photographs in the early 1940s, studying under Berenice Abbott in the late 1940s and Alexei Brodovich in the mid-1950s. However, around 1957, he was inspired by Lisette Model's photography workshop and began to pursue the kind of work he currently produces.
