This is a catalogue for an exhibition that brought together 40 German sculptors under the theme of "three-dimensionality." The participating artists span a wide range of ages, and were selected with a particular focus on the changing trends in sculpture from the 1970s to the 1980s. The universal theme of three-dimensionality in sculpture and artworks seeks to lead us beyond the various relationships that arise when the space in which the object resides is connected to the space in which the viewer is located.
Although all pages are black and white, the book is attractive for its rich illustrations and highly designed binding.
