Includes a large collection of contemporary art by Frederick R. Wiseman and his ex-wife Marcia.
After the couple discovered modern art in 1947, their home became a regular gathering place for art critics and emerging artists. American Abstract Expressionism -- works by Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning, Franz Kline, and Mark Rothko -- as well as works by personal friend Clyfford Still adorned the walls of their Beverly Hills mansion.
The Frederick R. Weisman Foundation was established in 1982. His collection includes a wide range of works, from 19th century Japanese art to contemporary art.
