Kim Seon-dong
Born in 1951 in a village in Hyogo Prefecture where people from the Korean Peninsula gather. After returning to Japan, he produced works in numerous solo and group exhibitions, including a long period of about 10 years in the United States.
In addition to two-dimensional works using his unique technique of "china collage," in which he covers the surface with tissue paper and then paints another image on top of it, he entered the world of ceramics in his later years, leaving behind a prolific body of work.
